The UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation is one of the nation’s top environmental policy research organizations. We work with LCI to develop strategic communications plans, provide messaging support, generate media coverage about research and events, and facilitate op-eds.

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is one of 17 U.S. Department of Energy research laboratories. We translate complicated scientific research into easy-to-understand language for policymakers, the media, and the general public.

Cyclotron Road is a fellowship program for world-changing innovators based at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. We secured media coverage of Activate 2018 – an innovator showcase bringing together hundreds of hard tech investors, corporate executives and philanthropists.

The Solutions Project is a national advocacy organization and grantmaker promoting climate justice and 100% clean energy for all. We secure media coverage about their work and provide their grantees with strategic communications support, including event publicity and op-eds.

CALSTART supports the growth of the clean transportation industry. We write case studies about their public-private partnerships, generate media coverage about events, and work with them on op-eds.

Each year, the global Keeling Curve Prize recognizes 10 projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions or promote carbon uptake. We provide strategic communications support, generate media coverage, and help manage application outreach strategy.

Veloz brings together key stakeholders to promote the electric vehicle revolution. We worked with Cater Communications and Piper Communications to garner media coverage of “Kicking Gas,” a satirical video starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the world’s worst used-car salesman.

Mothers Out Front is a national network of climate activists. We helped them update their branding and develop national messaging guides on a range of topics, including messaging aimed at specific audiences

E4TheFuture promotes policies at the intersection of energy, the economy, the environment, and equity. We provide overall strategic communications support, including placing op-eds and garnering media coverage of reports on how COVID-19 is affecting clean energy and energy efficiency jobs.

The Wind Solar Alliance (which has since merged with ACORE) promoted policies to advance wind and solar energy. We secured media coverage of their reports on proposed electricity-market reforms that would enable more wind and solar power on the grid.

The Rainey Center promotes post-partisan policies and political leadership that reflects the diversity of the American people. We produced the center’s strategic communications plan and developed its messaging bible.

 
 

Climate Justice Groups

The New York Energy Democracy Alliance works to make clean energy more accessible and affordable for low-income communities and communities of color. We helped NYEDA with media outreach for a statewide series of #SaveOurSolar press conferences, which called on policymakers to protect a solar-friendly net-metering.

South Carolina’s New Alpha Community Development Corporation promotes climate justice and 100% clean energy for all. We secured media coverage of a rural community solar project dedicated to a young nursing student and environmental health advocate who passed away from breast cancer. We also receive funding from The Solutions Project to support the thought leadership work of NACDC Executive Director the Rev. Leo Woodberry , including facilitating his op-ed about the nation’s first-ever environmental justice forum for presidential candidates.

PUSH Buffalo promotes reliable access to essential services — including affordable housing, clean energy, and water — to low-income residents of Buffalo, NY. We delivered a series of communications training sessions for staffers, and have received funding from The Solutions Project to provide PUSH with media relations support.

The Justice First Campaign promotes environmental justice, forest protection, and 100% clean energy. We helped manage the #JusticeFirstVoter social media campaign and received funding from The Solutions Project to provide media support, including facilitating thought-leadership pieces and securing media coverage of a press conference at the National Press Club featuring Rep. A. Donald McEachin (D-VA).

Saratoga Energy is working to commercialize a pioneering production process that  synthesizes better, cheaper carbon nanotubes from carbon dioxide. We handle the company’s press releases, and are in the process of creating its new website.

Piper Communications is a Knoxville, Tennessee public relations firm specializing in clean energy and political communications. We help execute media strategies designed to help its clients achieve their policy goals, including the bipartisan DRIVE-SAFE and 100% clean energy campaigns in California.

StrongArm Comfort Cane walking cane.

The patented StrongArm Comfort Cane circumvents wrist pain, and is more comfortable and stable than a traditional walking cane. We wrote and issued a  press release about the cane and its appearance on the Home Shopping Network (HSN).

Pack4U improves patient health outcomes and lowers healthcare costs through interconnected technologies and personal interactions designed to ensure that patients take medication on time and as directed. We produced a video designed to show how this approach can help seniors stay healthier and more independent.
